Reserved a unit online, next day got a call from the manager (I think) making sure I was all set since they were going to be closed for the next 2 days, it was discovered that my unit configuration was different than I thought but she GOT IT FIXED before my move in. EXCELLENT SERVICE and the rates are best around for how clean and nice this facility is.

I want to give some due credit to the great customer service that I received from this storage location and IM NOT EVEN A CUSTOMER. So the story goes that I rented a Penske truck to pick up at this location. I was called by Penske 2 days before i am to pick up the truck to tell me that I would need to drive 30 miles from this pick up location to a Home Depot to pick up the truck. They gave me a whopping $17 credit for that. Keep in mind its $1/MILE charge so the sorry Penske people weren’t even going to cover my mileage. THEN to top it off, not only did it take well over an hour to give me the truck at Home Depot, but the (not the sharpest tool in the shed) lady that issued me the truck forgot to put the hand truck on the truck for me. You wanna talk about mad? I didn’t realize there was no hand truck until i wanted to start filling the truck 30 MILES BACK TO WHERE I WAS SUPPOSED TO PICK UP THE TRUCK ORIGINALLY. Now I have family standing around waiting to help me load the truck. The only thing I could think to do was go to this original location which was only a few miles from my storage locker to see if they could help me. The lady at this original pick up location was very understanding and apologetic. She immediately got on the phone for Penske to offer her no help so she called her own team to figure out how to issue me one of their own hand trucks (Penske property). This whole process set me back another couple hours but the nice lady was able to get us a hand truck. Unfortunately, the straps on the hand truck were too short to go around ANY furniture….one of the straps was almost completely sliced through the strap, which eventually broke. The hand truck was mostly useless as it should have allowed me to move big items by myself so everyone else could move boxes. Well I needed to have someone with me and the hand truck the entire time just to make sure the furniture didn’t fall off of it. Almost a total waste. I ENDED UP HAVING TO KEEP THE TRUCK 3 MORE DAYS!!!!!! This is one expensive move that i could have hired someone else to do the job. As I dropped off the truck to the place where I was originally supposed to pick the truck up at, I explained all of this to the super awesome lady (SO SORRY I LOST YOUR CARD/NAME) and she assured me she would see what she could do with my bill. She called me back later on to let me know she had negotiated a much better price with Penske for all of my troubles. I am very grateful for her kindness and if I had a storage need in the future, I will call her FIRST! Thanks again!
