7 New Hires and Promotions as Absolute Grows

Shawn Elliott | HR Administrator

Shawn joins us as our HR Administrator. Shawn will be the face and voice of the company for potential candidates and new hires. She has over 15 years of experience in office administrative functions, as well as customer service and support. We are so excited to have Shawn on our team and look forward to all the wonderful things that she will accomplish!  

Moving Up in the Company: Absolute Team Member Promotions

Angelica Locklear | Ops & Training Support

Angelica, an Absolute team member since May 2021, started her journey in a part-time role at Legion Self Storage. Shortly after in September of 2021, Angelica moved into a full-time position at Fayetteville Storage on Yadkin Rd. As of July 25^th, Angelica has taken on the new role of Ops & Training Support. Her hometown is in the Fayetteville, NC area. 

Eboniee Woolard | Senior General Manager

Eboniee has been an Absolute team member since November of 2021, where she started as an Assistant Property Manager at Woodruff Self Storage. Eboniee has recently moved into the role of Senior General Manager in her area. She resides in Phoenix City, Alabama and has goals to obtain her business management certifications.

Zaria Graves | Senior General Manager

Zaria started her journey with Absolute in October of 2021 as an Assistant Property Manager at Ponchatoula Storage. Zaria soon moved up to General Manager. She was born and raised in the Ponchatoula area, and she has recently moved into the role of Senior General Manager in this area. Zaria hopes to continue to grow with Absolute. 

Mary Gray | General Manager

Mary started her journey with Absolute in April of 2020. She began as a Property Manager at Southside Storage. Unfortunately, shortly after her husband passed. Mary appreciated the We Care culture at Absolute and the support she received from her team and supervisor during this time so she could focus on the challenging time they were going through. Upon her return, Mary began learning more about self-storage and has moved into a General Manager for Southside Storage and 1 Stop Self Storage Toledo in Ohio.

Melissa Halcomb | Regional Manager

Melissa has been with Absolute since May of 2021. She held the role of Senior General Manager working at Leland Storage and Wilson Road Storage. We are excited to announce that Melissa has recently accepted the role of Regional Manager and will oversee the Fayetteville, NC areas. Melissa appreciates all the support she has received that has allowed her to grow and accomplish her goals. 

Mackenzie Phelps | Training Specialist

Mackenzie started with Absolute in April of 2017 as an Assistant Manager at Princeton Self Storage. She then moved into the role of Virtual Property Manager in June of 2022. We are excited to announce that Mackenzie has recently accepted the role of Training Specialist and will lead our new hires through their first week of training! Mackenzie stated she is very excited about the opportunity to take on this new role and grow with Absolute.
