Welcome to Absolute: New Team Members
Vince Ward Director of Operations
Vince joins Absolute with nearly 10 years of prior leadership experience in the storage industry, including several years as Director of Operations. Additionally, he earned his Master’s in Business Administration Management and Human Resources Management in 2014. Vince began the role of Director of Operations in September where he will be a strategic partner to the Regional Directors and support the Chief Operating Officer in achieving our operational goals. Additionally, Vince will provide leadership support to the entire Operations team at Absolute. Through collaboration, Vince will lead initiatives aimed at improving operations, expanding the business, launching new processes, vendors, services, and products.
Amanda Anderson Hybrid Regional Director
Amanda started with Absolute in 2019 as a Property Manager at Guntersville. Over the course of four years, Amanda was quickly promoted to General Manager, Senior General Manager, and Regional Manager. Amanda has worked in the FL, LA, GA, and AL areas. In October, Amanda accepted the role of Hybrid Regional Director where she will continue to serve as a Regional Manager to her current properties while also providing leadership to other Regional Managers.
Suzannah Fischer Process Improvement Specialist
Suzannah is a new addition to the Absolute team and joins us with previous experience in various industries including higher education, health care, and technology. Suzannah holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in English & Classics (University of South Florida) and an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology. In September Suzannah accepted the role of Process Improvement Specialist where she will be analyzing and optimizing various processes to enhance efficiency and improve overall performance in addition to providing support to the Chief Operating Officer. Through her collaboration with many departments, she will be able to focus on streamlining workflows, eliminating hold-ups and enhancing the quality of service.
Kelly Lawrence Accountant
Kelly joined Absolute in August with experience in property management accounting. Kelly earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration – Accounting from the University of Memphis. Kelly resides in the Memphis, TN area where she works onsite at our home office.
Macey Dennis Accountant
Macey joins Absolute with prior Accounting experience in roles such as a Staff Accountant and Accounting Clerk. Macey earned a Bachelors degree in
Business Administration – Management and Marketing from Arkansas Tech University. Macey went back to school attending classes at Louisiana State University and earned her second Bachelors degree in Accounting! Macey resides in the Memphis, TN area where she works onsite at our home office.
Will Taylor Director of Marketing
Will is a new addition to the Absolute team as of November 2023 in the role of Director of Marketing. Will is familiar with Absolute due to previously working alongside us with one of our vendors. Will holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Kansas. Will’s impact as our Director of Marketing will include oversight and development of the Marketing Success Manager, improving the transparency of marketing reporting, improving owner communication, leading and updating internal training, directing Absolute corporate content, and leading through marketing initiatives to improve customer acquisition costs for the properties.
Moving Up in the Company: Team Member Promotions
Joyce Hawk Regional Manager
Joyce started with Absolute in April of 2018 as a Floating Assistant Manager in the North MS/Memphis areas. Joyce soon moved into the role of Assistant Manager at MidSouth Storage. Each year after, Joyce took on a new opportunity with Absolute, including Property Manager, General Manager, Senior General Manager, and we are so happy to announce that effective September 2023 Joyce accepted the role of Regional Manager! Joyce will now be working in the Florida/South Georgia markets.
Justin Hoover Senior General Manager
Justin started with Absolute in September of 2018 as an Assistant Manager at Green & Sons Self Storage. Justin was then promoted to Property Manager over Cool Springs Self Storage in March of 2019. In June of 2020 Justin accepted the role of General Manager over Abbott Trinity and Abbott West, and we are excited to announce that in August, Justin moved into the Senior General Manager position in the Atlanta area!
Donisha Buehler Senior General Manager
Donisha started with Absolute in 2011 as an Assistant Manager at Fairgrounds Self Storage. Over the course of nine years, Donisha has held many positions at various locations including Assistant Manager, Property Manager, Training/Recruiting Specialist, and effective August 2023, Donisha was promoted to Senior General Manager.
Sue Crockett Senior General Manager
Sue started with Absolute in 2019 as an Assistant Manager at Premier Storage Hamilton Mill. Over the course of four years, Sue has grown quickly with Absolute moving into a Property Manager position in March of 2022 at Matt Highway Storage and in August, Sue was promoted into the role of Senior General Manager.
Robert Atkins Senior General Manager
Robert started with Absolute in October of 2021 as a Property Manager at Starkville Storage. A short time later in January of 2022, Robert was promoted to General Manager over Starkville and Tupelo Storage. We are happy to announce that in September, Robert moved into the role of Senior General Manager.
Don Miller General Manager
Don started with Absolute in 2019 as a Floating Assistant Manager in the Memphis, TN area. Over the course of four years, Don moved into the roles of Assistant Manager and Property Manager, and in October 2023 Don moved into the role of General Manager!
Monica Owsley General Manager
Monica started with Absolute in July of 2018 as an Assistant Manager and quickly promoted to Property Manager of Abbott Trinity. Monica continued her journey with Absolute moving to various locations including Franklin Downs Blvd and Store It Spring Hill. In July, Monica was promoted to the role of General Manager.
Eboni Walker General Manager
Eboni started with Absolute in August of 2015. Over the course of 8 years, Eboni has held the roles of Assistant Manager and Property Manager. As of August 2023, Eboni has moved into the role of General Manager and is currently working over Lighthouse Storage and Storage First. We are excited to see Eboni excel in this role with years of prior experience with Absolute.
Brittany Detter Sales Center Agent
Brittany started with Absolute in June of 2023 as an Assistant Manager at River Rock Storage. Brittany has a background in call centers and other various customer service and storage experiences. In August Brittany accepted the role of Sales Center Agent.
Kambria Turner Sales Center Agent
Kambria started with Absolute in May of 2021 as a Property Manager at West Memphis Storage. As of August 2023, Kambria has transitioned to the role of Sales Center Agent. In the sales center, Kambria can leverage her experience and knowledge she gained from her previous role onsite at the property.
