Scott Beatty

Scott Beatty is the CEO of Absolute Storage Management and brings over 25 years of self-storage industry experience. For over the past two decades, Scott has worked alongside Michael Haugh, Matt Bailey, and a talented leadership team to grow Absolute to its current footprint.

Before joining Absolute in 2003, Scott spent eight years in financial operations, budgeting, and forecasting—including four years as a financial executive at Storage USA. There, he was responsible for the strategic planning, budgeting, and financial reporting of over 400 properties. His background includes developing single-year property budgets as well as long-range financial strategies for large-scale organizations.

Scott holds a BS in Finance from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. He is actively involved with the University of Memphis Fogelman College of Business as a mentor in the Memphis Institute for Leadership Education (MILE) program, where he helps guide future business leaders through mentorship and professional development. Since 2019, he has also been a member of Vistage, an international CEO peer advisory and coaching organization.

In addition to his professional commitments, Scott serves as an active board member of the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, TN. He values this role as a meaningful way to give back to the community and support the arts—a cause he is deeply passionate about.
